Teaching Teachers!
On Monday the 26th, the Teachers got taught a lesson - literally! The Year 8 Digital Leaders [Grace, Stephen, Lauren, Kieran & James] led a 20 minute lesson teaching the English Department to correctly use Google Docs and a side order of the Calender. We will be releasing Posters to YJB within the next few weeks. You might also see us in your Assemblies advertising the Digital Leaders and where you can find us. Right now, we’re only going to be seeing Year 7.

Year 7 - Done and Dusted
After a week of rushing to the ICT Department during Form time, the Year 7 students have been taught how to access Google Apps and have correctly changed their password. We might have a few extra classes, but the Year 7’s are out of the way [phew!].

FAQ - Get some Questions Answered!
Question: How do I log into my Google Apps account?
Answer: If you have not already accessed your Google Apps account, then the password will simply be "password". You must change your password once logged in to a STRONG password.
Question: What is Google Apps?
Answer: Google Apps is a series of Applications made by Google. These include Mail, Calender, Documents, Groups and a few other Apps. You can use it for many things at YJB

Digital Leaders - Tour to the South
3 Digital Leaders will be dispatched along with Mrs. S Longley to Cardiff to raise awareness of the Digital Leader programme and what we do. They’ve been working very hard on the PowerPoint Presentation that will be shown to various Teachers and others from surrounding areas. We hope them a big sucess in Cardiff and hope they have a wonderful time!
Digital Leaders - Teaching the Teachers!
That’s right! Our Year 8 Digital Leaders will be leading a Meeting with the English Department of YJB and teaching them about the Digital Leaders, How to use Google Apps and how it can have influence to the students and their learning. It’s a good way to encourage the Digital Leader’s confidence and it also benefits the English Department so they know how to operate Google Apps....
